We have an exciting new opportunity within our commercial solutions team to join a huge growth area of the business. We are looking for an outgoing Junior Solutions Account Manager to foster strong relationships with our clients. The Junior Solutions Account Manager responsibilities also include working with our external sales affiliates on new business opportunities, providing clients with knowledgeable advice, guiding their choices, promptly resolving complaints, and ensuring client satisfaction. You will be managing their customer lifecycle from supporting senior Solutions Account Managers as well as the sale affiliate. To be successful as a Junior Solutions Account Manager you should be able to build positive, long-term relationships and support clients in the decision-making process by identifying solutions that most closely meet their needs.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage a portfolio of accounts worth upwards of £2m to identify and grow all business opportunities to achieve revenue targets on a monthly and annual basis
  • Source, identify and secure new business opportunities for Equals Money cross selling and building a network of contacts / stakeholders across the accounts
  • Execute strategic business plans to drive performance, monitor activity and performance through account development plans
  • Create a personal plan on a page for your portfolio to include key projects, clients to prioritise and sales activity to exceed sales targets
  • Lead Monthly Key Account Reviews which focus on both current and future business opportunities
  • Forecast accurately to individual account level on the Equals CRM system
  • Report and review success as part of monthly reporting to management
  • Establish strong relationships at all levels with accounts to ensure opportunities are leveraged and targets achieved
  • Work closely with the Equals Head of Solutions Account Management
  • Commercial Monitoring of pricing data / FX rates through effective use of management information systems/dashboards
  • Use public source data to understand the client, their industry trends
  • Developing and maintaining a strong understanding of competitors and market trends

Requirements:

  • Numerical - advanced analytical skills and able to interpret reporting
  • Deep knowledge of the B2B payments & card issuing industry and best practice tools, systems, and processes
  • In-depth knowledge of IBANs, BICs and international payment systems
  • Strong understanding of payment architecture and routing principles
  • Commercially savvy - able to construct commercial pricing models
  • A self-starter - knows how to get things done
  • Excellent Communication skills, socially confident and engaging
  • Meeting planning and execution - structured agendas and activity on Hubspot

  • Proactively recruit new affiliates across the portfolio and project manage affiliate migrations in collaboration with clients and publisher team while building a working relationship with top 50 affiliates on network
  • Familiarize yourself with industry trends and Awin products to inform program management, while keeping clients informed of relevant information
  • Regularly leverage & utilize the Awin platform and third-party tools (i.e. Tableau, PowerBI, SimilarWeb, etc.) in support of account management deliverables for assigned clients and in support of wider network activities
  • Monitor affiliate program performance to ensure network compliance and program health
  • Take a proactive approach in solving issues with assigned clients, escalating issues to the appropriate team level when necessary
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with clients, publishers, vendors and internal teams via email, phone and face-to-face
  • Provide support to all team members when necessary and be a reference point of knowledge and expertise for more junior members of the team
