Job Description:

We are seeking a Junior Software Developer to join our Software & Product Infrastructure team in Bucharest. In this role, you will contribute to the development of software products, services, and modules, ensuring high-quality code and documentation. You will also provide Level 3 support for complex solutions that include databases, business logic, user interfaces, and integrations. This position involves working collaboratively with an international team to deliver solutions for enterprise customers worldwide.

Job Responsibility:

Develop well-structured, documented code in line with company standards
Document improvements and changes made to systems
Collaborate effectively within a distributed team across multiple countries and time zones
Work on multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of objectives and milestones
Deliver software that meets initial requirements and manage aspects of implementation and continuous integration
Provide accurate time and effort estimates for assigned technical specifications
Contribute to the development of software products, services, and modules, ensuring high-quality code and documentation
Provide Level 3 support for complex solutions that include databases, business logic, user interfaces, and integrations

Requirements:

Interested in developing software for internet, mobile applications, and communication technologies
Familiar with version control systems (e.g., Git) and basic Linux administration and scripting
Knowledge of Agile methodologies (SCRUM) is a plus
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to adapt to diverse audiences
Functional understanding of object-oriented programming and the software development lifecycle
Academic knowledge or experience in technologies such as Ruby, Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, SCSS, React, Apache, and web services
Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQLite) and containerisation tools like Docker
Familiarity with Bash scripting and web technologies (HTML5/CSS3, XML)
Proficient in English (B2 level or higher)
