Job Description:

We’re looking for a Freelance Junior Social Media Specialist based in Houston to help elevate our online presence by developing engaging campaigns, designing content, and building relationships with our audience. Job Responsibility:

Collaborate with the marketing team to develop social media strategies that align with company goals and brand identity
Plan, create, and maintain content calendars to organize social media posts across multiple platforms
Design and edit content (graphics, short videos, photos, etc.) that resonates with target audiences and drives engagement
Monitor social media platforms and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely manner
Assist in tracking and analyzing performance metrics to inform future strategies and optimize campaigns
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging social media platforms to bring fresh ideas to the table

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred but not required. Relevant experience or certifications may be accepted
Proficiency in social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Twitter/X
Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, or Sprout Social)
Basic graphic design skills and experience with design tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar software
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects with deadlines
