Job Description:

This role is part of the Creative & Media team based in Rotterdam and Amsterdam. Joining this team means becoming part of the EMEA SEO team that spans a number of offices across Europe. The team empowers clients to develop and grow their online businesses through organic search. The candidate will go beyond simply executing SEO tasks; together with more experienced consultants, they will function as a strategic advisor to clients by understanding their needs and proposing hands-on solutions.

Job Responsibility:

  • Collaborate closely with experienced consultants and learn about on page and off page SEO, as well as GEO projects from start to finish
  • Create short- and long-term SEO and GEO strategies based on data and with the help of multiple tools
  • Gain hands-on experience with technical website analysis, keyword research, and building SEO content strategies
  • Be comfortable with the idea of presenting advice and learning how to persuade clients to follow recommendations over time
  • Work on recurring tasks such as keyword research and content briefings that ensure stability for clients

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a focus on (digital) marketing
  • At least 1 year of hands-on SEO experience, ideally from a digital agency or proven success with own web projects
  • Excellent command of both Dutch and English
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and technically curious
  • Independent and communicative
  • First experience with SEO tools like Google Search Console, Ahrefs and/or Semrush
  • Not shy away from recurring operational SEO tasks (e.g., optimizing titles, meta descriptions, internal linking, fixing crawling errors)
  • Motivated to learn and grow toward more strategic responsibilities
  • Enjoy working in an international environment
  • Motivated to build expertise in SEO, GEO and beyond
