Foundation Software is seeking a Junior Salesforce Administrator to join our dynamic Salesforce team. This role is ideal for someone interested in building a career in Salesforce administration and gaining hands-on experience in a real-world, production environment. The Junior Salesforce Administrator will support the day-to-day maintenance of our Salesforce platform while developing skills across configuration, data management, reporting, and user support. This role reports directly to the Salesforce Architect and is part of the Salesforce team aligned with the Sales organization, supporting Salesforce across multiple business functions. This is a learning-focused role where the Junior Salesforce Administrator will work closely with the Salesforce Architect and the broader Salesforce team to gain hands-on experience supporting real business needs. The role is designed to gradually increase responsibility as skills and confidence grow.
Job Responsibility:
Support day-to-day Salesforce administration activities under guidance, including configuration updates, access requests, and basic troubleshooting
Assist with maintaining data quality and consistency through approved data updates and validation checks
Serve as an initial point of contact for routine Salesforce questions
Help users understand Salesforce functionality and follow established best practices
Escalate complex issues appropriately while learning how to diagnose root causes
Assist with testing Salesforce enhancements and changes prior to release
Document configurations, processes, and testing outcomes
Participate in release preparation and post-release validation activities
Create and maintain reports and dashboards based on defined business requirements
Validate report accuracy and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure usability
Gain hands-on experience in a modern Salesforce environment, including working with sandboxes, data tools, and change processes
Support Salesforce across multiple teams and business functions
Learn and apply Salesforce best practices for configuration, documentation, testing, and releases
Stay current with Salesforce platform updates and features
Requirements:
Interest in building a career in Salesforce administration
Salesforce Associate or Salesforce Administrator certification (completed or in progress preferred)
Knowledge of Salesforce platform features and capabilities
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and detail-oriented mindset
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Basic understanding of database management and data manipulation
Familiarity with Salesforce data import/export tools is a plus
Ability to learn new tools and processes quickly
