Marcus Evans is a global business intelligence and event marketing company. We are looking for driven, enthusiastic, and passionate professionals to join our Sales team as Junior Sales Executives for our conferences division. In this role you will be working with key industry leaders and innovators. We help companies better their business through corporate meetings with targeted customers at very elite and specialized B2B events. This role is perfect for those looking to start their career in sales and business development.

Job Responsibility

  • Market research and data capture
  • Cold calling and prospecting over the phone
  • Sales outreach leveraging the phone, email, and voicemail
  • Developing and managing your own portfolio of clients
  • Set monthly goals and KPIs
  • Facilitate interactions between executives (Buyers) and our service providers
  • Bringing your own set of ideas to help improve day-to-day operations and results

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Business Studies/Administration/ Management or equivalent
  • Positive mindset and excellent communication skills in English
  • High level of self motivation and tremendous work ethic

  • Manage the end-to-end organization of 50+ events per year, including: Industry conferences and tradeshows, AppTweak-owned events (VIP dinners, workshops, happy hours…), Partner events with key ecosystem players
  • Lead sponsorship execution, including negotiation support and logistical coordination
  • Coordinate venue sourcing and booking for AppTweak-hosted events
  • Kick off event preparation with internal teams: Marketing & Design (branding, booth assets, promotional materials), Revenue teams (sales alignment, event tracking sheet, registrations, travel arrangements)
  • Manage event and webinar promotion campaigns pre- and post-event
