We are seeking a Junior SailPoint Developer to support application onboarding and identity integration efforts within a federal ICAM program. This role focuses on developing and implementing SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) solutions while supporting enterprise security and audit requirements in a large-scale environment. You will work closely with senior developers, security teams, and business stakeholders to deliver identity governance capabilities that are scalable, secure, and aligned with federal compliance standards.
Job Responsibility:
Support end-to-end application onboarding into SailPoint IdentityIQ, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment
Develop and maintain custom connectors, workflows, and integrations using Java and SailPoint APIs
Perform entitlement analysis, access mapping, and attribute modeling
Configure and support provisioning, deprovisioning, certifications, and lifecycle event processes
Write and debug BeanShell scripts, rules, and XML configurations within IdentityIQ
Integrate IdentityIQ with external systems using RESTful and SOAP web services
Troubleshoot issues related to connectivity, schema discovery, and rule execution
Collaborate with application owners, cybersecurity teams, and business stakeholders
Contribute to technical documentation, onboarding artifacts, and best practices
Support peer collaboration and knowledge sharing across the team
Supporting IT audit readiness and audit remediation activities
Assisting in development and maintenance of system control documentation
Supporting implementation and sustainment of RMF and FISCAM controls
Contributing to IT audit reviews and compliance assessments
Ensuring IAM solutions align with internal control and auditability requirements
Supporting identity governance capabilities aligned to financial system access controls
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in IT, cybersecurity, or identity and access management
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience in lieu of degree)
Professional certification required (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CISA, or similar)
Hands-on experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) implementations
Proficiency in Java development
Experience developing custom connectors, workflows, and rules
Experience writing and debugging BeanShell scripts
Experience working with XML configurations
Experience integrating systems using RESTful and SOAP web services
Familiarity with SailPoint APIs
Knowledge of access certifications, provisioning, and identity governance features
Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git)
Familiarity with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
Active DoD Secret Clearance
Nice to have:
Additional IAM or cybersecurity certifications
Experience supporting federal or large enterprise environments
Exposure to audit, compliance, or risk management frameworks (RMF, FISCAM, NIST)
