Job Description

We are looking for Junior/Regular C#/.NET Developer. Your technical level will be assessed on a technical task following the initial interview. You will be responsible for developing the software applications of Fourth including technical documentation, participating in new feature development, bug fixing, customizations, software support and technology upgrade projects, innovations and simplification of user interfaces. This position is maternity cover with approximately 1-2 years duration. You’ll be part of a team that is building and maintaining our Scheduling solution. It gives UK hospitality and retail operators real-time visibility and control over labour deployment, ensuring the right people are in the right place at the right time - every shift, every site.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop the software applications of Fourth including technical documentation
  • Participate in new feature development, bug fixing, customizations, software support and technology upgrade projects, innovations and simplification of user interfaces
  • Design, develop and unit test solutions of any size or complexity
  • Produce clean code
  • Understand all of Fourth’s products in detail, how they are integrated with each other, and their business value
  • Diagnose defects and provide effective solutions
  • Provide development estimates, be a part of planning sessions
  • Understand and support the release management process

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience with .Net Framework C#
  • 2+ years of experience with ASP.Net (Web Forms and Web Services)
  • 2+ years of experience with SQL and T-SQL (stored procedures, functions)
  • Experience with unit testing
  • Good understanding of GIT
  • Good understanding of Azure DevOps
  • Fluent in English

Nice to have

  • Experience with frontend technologies - HTML, CSS3, JavaScript, Angular
  • Strong AI skills are a great benefit
