Seeking a meaningful role in a supportive team? We’re looking for a friendly and organised Junior Receptionist to be the welcoming face of Believe and Achieve Paediatric Therapy. Our therapists work with children with a range of conditions, backgrounds and diagnoses, aged 0 to 16. At Believe and Achieve Paediatric Therapy, we are passionate about celebrating each child’s strengths and creating a welcoming, supportive environment for families and staff. As our Junior Receptionist, you’ll be the friendly first point of contact for families, helping to create a warm and welcoming clinic environment. Your day will include managing bookings and schedules, answering phone calls, responding to emails and supporting therapists and the waiting room. You’ll help prepare and organise therapy resources, handle paperwork, assist with light cleaning to keep the clinic tidy, and proofread documents as needed. You’ll also support the therapy team, helping their day run smoothly and ensuring families feel comfortable and supported from the moment they arrive. Every day brings a mix of tasks, interaction with families, and opportunities to learn and grow in a dynamic, child-focused environment. Job Responsibility:
Be the friendly first point of contact for families, helping to create a warm and welcoming clinic environment
Managing bookings and schedules
Answering phone calls
Responding to emails
Supporting therapists and the waiting room
Help prepare and organise therapy resources
Handle paperwork
Assist with light cleaning to keep the clinic tidy
Proofread documents as needed
Support the therapy team, helping their day run smoothly and ensuring families feel comfortable and supported from the moment they arrive
Requirements:
A genuine interest in working in a paediatric setting and supporting children and families
Friendly, calm and professional manner at the front desk and over the phone
Strong verbal and written communication skills with children, families and professionals
Strong organisational skills with excellent time management and attention to detail
Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast paced clinic environment
Willingness to learn clinic systems, policies and administrative processes
Confidence using computers, email, phone systems and practice management software
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary therapy team
Reliable, punctual and consistent in attendance
