Job Description:

Join MDPI as a Junior Publication Ethics Assistant. Assist in data analysis, ethics case management, and report preparation. Gain hands-on experience in academic publishing within a dynamic team. As a Junior Publication Ethics Assistant, you will support our Research Integrity specialists and managers in their daily tasks, including ethics case research, organizational support, and data reporting.

Job Responsibility:

  • Compile and analyze data for ethics case management
  • Prepare monthly reports and presentations for team meetings
  • Conduct background research to support case investigations
  • Monitor the Susy ethics case management system
  • Participate actively in weekly team meetings and discussions

Requirements:

  • Student Status: Currently enrolled in a university or higher education institution
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English (C1)
  • German is a plus
  • Technical Skills: Confident use of MS Office and digital tools for document management
  • Experience: Experience in academic publishing, research integrity or editorial tasks as well as handling of ethical issues is not required, but a plus
  • Soft Skills: Strong organizational and communication abilities, keen attention to detail, and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.
