Junior Project Manager

• Support the assessment and utilisation of company documentation, including project functional specifications
• Work in accordance with company and relevant business systems, processes, and procedures
• Assist with updating company data and information systems to ensure project data is accurately recorded
• Participate in on-site investigations to support project designs
• Contribute to the production of cost proposals and technical support for connection quote requests
• Aid in the development of project designs and documentation
• Support engineering design, feasibility, and technical development work
• Assist with specification and ordering of equipment, plant, and services
• Participate in witness testing of plant and equipment and attend Factory Acceptance Testing as required
• Interface with customers, stakeholders, and internal/external resources
• Support project management activities within a team-based environment to ensure safe, timely, and high-quality delivery
• Maintain effective communication within the project team
• Comply with company quality, safety, and environmental standards and participate in routine audits and inspections
• Provide customer service and support stakeholder management
• Assist with environmental management and routine reporting
• Record accurate and timely reports on progress and status of projects
• Support risk management and resource programming activities
• Either possess or be capable to successfully obtain, and maintain, the company operational authorisation requirements for access to operational substations

• Minimum Higher National Certificate (HNC) academic qualification in Electrical Engineering or degree in relevant field
• Up to 2 years’ experience practicing as a project engineer, trainee, or graduate engineer
• Willingness to travel between work locations, sites, and company/supplier offices
• Current and valid UK driving licence

Experience with distribution system asset classes (overhead lines, cables, substations, civil works, work programmes) beneficial but not essential
