Junior Project Engineer Location: Montreal Type: Permanent Full-time Primero America's team is currently looking for a Junior Project Engineer. This is a unique opportunity to join our talented team and be part of Primero's growth and success. Primero is an Australian-founded company, established in 2011 and growing consistently in Montreal since 2016. We expanded into Houston in 2022 and Toronto in 2023, strengthening our North American presence. We specialize in the design, procurement, and construction management of mineral processing plants. The Junior Project Engineer will play a key role in supporting the successful execution of mining and heavy industrial projects across all project phases, from engineering and procurement through construction and commissioning. This role reports directly to the Engineering Manager. Working as part of a multidisciplinary project team, the successful candidate will support project coordination, contractor management, technical problem-solving, and site execution activities while ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and within schedule and budget requirements. This role is ideal for a hands-on and adaptable engineer who enjoys balancing technical engineering responsibilities with project coordination and field execution in a fast-paced EPCM environment. The position may involve site activities depending on project requirements.
