At North Star Network, we are looking for a Junior Product Owner for our Brazilian Business Unit to support our Product team in delivering high-quality, business-driven digital products. This role is ideal for someone organized, curious, and eager to grow in Product Management, with a strong interest in digital products, user experience, and data-informed decision-making. You will work closely with Product Owners, Product Managers, Tech, UX, QA, and business stakeholders to help translate business and user needs into clear, actionable product requirements, ensuring smooth delivery and continuous improvement across our platforms.
Job Responsibility:
Assist in maintaining a structured and organized product backlog
Draft initial user stories and acceptance criteria based on guidance and documented user or business needs
Support refinement sessions with Tech, UX, and stakeholders to clarify requirements
Help assess and communicate feature priorities according to business objectives and constraints
Support backlog grooming sessions by preparing tickets and ensuring required details are available
Clarify straightforward questions from the development team, escalating complex topics to the Product Owner or Product Manager
Help validate completed stories by checking alignment with acceptance criteria
Flag potential requirement gaps, risks, or dependencies to the Product Owner or Product Manager early
Contribute to ensuring user stories lead to high-quality product increments
Collaborate with QA by supporting test case preparation and helping review defects
Collect basic user feedback, operational insights, or data points to support iteration
Uphold consistency in product behavior and user experience by reporting inconsistencies
Assist in maintaining communication between stakeholders and the development team
Help prepare status updates, release notes, or documentation for internal stakeholders
Communicate small updates or clarifications, while escalating major decisions to the Product Owner or Product Manager
Ensure continuous alignment with the Product Owner and Product Manager on prioritization and scope
Requirements:
1–3 years of experience in a Product, Project, Business Analyst, or Tech-related role (or relevant internships)
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to structure information clearly and write concise product documentation
Basic understanding of Agile / Scrum methodologies and product development cycles
Analytical mindset with an interest in data, user behavior, and business impact
Comfortable working with cross-functional, fully remote teams
Fluency in English (written and spoken)
Interest in digital media, sports, or iGaming is a strong advantage
Nice to have:
French or other languages are a plus
