We are looking for a Junior Platform Engineer to help keep our platform reliable, scalable, and efficient. You will work on CI/CD pipelines, monitor operational dashboards, support Kubernetes deployment tooling, and collaborate with development and automation teams to improve engineering workflows. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, automation, and learning from senior engineers.
Job Responsibility:
Monitor dashboards and alerts to detect issues or performance problems
Maintain documentation for platform changes and troubleshooting
Support senior engineers in incident triage and response
Maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure stable builds, tests, and deployments
Work with developers to integrate tests and quality checks
Recommend and implement improvements to pipeline speed and reliability
Assist automation teams with workflow and pipeline tooling
Create and maintain Helm charts with proper versioning and best practices
Review Helm merge requests and support safe deployments
Assist with Kubernetes configurations, rollouts, and resource optimization
Help development teams with configuration, deployment, and environment setup
Contribute to scripts and tools that improve automation and efficiency
Participate in cross-team efforts to improve engineering workflows
Follow operational, security, and coding standards
Document best practices and internal processes
Join code reviews, knowledge-sharing, and learning sessions
Requirements:
Basic knowledge of Linux, containers, and cloud-native concepts
Familiar with GitLab CI and TeamCity
Some exposure to Kubernetes and YAML
Interest or experience in Helm, scripting, or automation
Can write simple scripts (Bash, Python, etc.)
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Eagerness to learn
Nice to have:
Hands-on Kubernetes experience
Knowledge of Terraform or Ansible
Familiarity with observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK)
Experience with GitOps
Cloud platform familiarity (Azure, AWS, GCP)
