Job Description:

We are looking for a structured Junior People Operations Manager to support Payroll and People Operations for our warehouse location (white- and blue-collar scope). This position is limited to 1 year and based in Robakowo, close to Poznan.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support the payroll process to ensure accurate and timely execution, including tax filings, social security contributions, internal finance-related reporting and compliance audits
  • Manage the full operative employee lifecycle, including contracts, terminations, onboarding, personnel files, benefits administration and the right to work for foreign employees in collaboration with the People Operations Manager
  • Act as the main point of contact for people operations-related matters for internal and external stakeholders, including People & Culture, Finance, auditors and local authorities
  • Maintain employee data across platforms and systems such as Personio, Enova and SSC Master to ensure complete accuracy
  • Ensure compliance and HSE standards, including OHS training records, medical examinations, GDPR and general compliance tracking
  • Drive process optimisation and digitalisation, leveraging AI and automation to enhance overall accuracy and scalability

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience in payroll management and people operations, preferably in a fast-paced, international and dynamic environment
  • Previous experience within a blue-collar setting and an understanding of its unique challenges is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of payroll, social security and tax legislation and processes in Poland (experience with other markets is a plus)
  • An independent, organised and detail-oriented working style with a strong sense of responsibility
  • A reliable, hands-on, flexible and discreet personality who enjoys working in a team
  • Very good written and spoken communication skills in English and Polish
