In the P&C Germany team, together with other Junior Specialists, Specialists, Senior Specialists and Experts, you will process P&C and payroll matters for the Co-workers of IKEA stores and units in Germany. This includes answering colleagues’ questions related to HR Administration and Payroll (via email and phone) or handling their personal data. You will be supported in your daily work by Team Leaders, whom you can consult in demanding situations. You can also count on your Buddy who will help you get to know IKEA’s culture and values and successfully get through the onboarding process.
Job Responsibility
Processing of ongoing orders from the country, e.g., a request for a change to an Co-worker’s employment terms in the systems
Contact with the national P&C unit, e.g., clarification of an error in an insurance application
Further processing in the system
Working in Excel, e.g., extracting a report from the system
Work at a 'helpline', i.e., Co-workers' support line (telephone/e-mail)
Reviewing company news
Requirements
Proficiency in German and English
Background in P&C, payroll or German philology (appreciated but not mandatory)
Willingness to improve skills in MS Office
Likes variety, sense of security, stability, openness to others
Ease in establishing relationships, authenticity, nurturing relaxed atmosphere
Caring for the planet and doing things with people in mind
Love for learning new things, taking initiative, not shying away from challenge
