As our Outsourcing Manager, you will be the bridge between Zalando Payments and Zalando SE, ensuring that our outsourcing strategies are executed with precision and regulatory integrity. You will join a dynamic, international team of experts dedicated to balancing operational efficiency with rigorous compliance. Your work directly impacts our ability to scale safely, as you manage the lifecycles of our third-party partnerships and ensure they align with our strategic vision.
Job Responsibility:
Drive Collaboration: Act as the key interface between Zalando Payments and Zalando SE to identify outsourcing needs and strategic opportunities
Manage Risk & Compliance: Evaluate potential partners through thorough Third-Party Risk Assessments, ensuring every collaboration meets legal and regulatory standards
Monitor Performance: Keep a pulse on our outsourcing partners, assessing their service quality and compliance to ensure they deliver excellence
Optimize Processes: Continuously refine and improve our outsourcing workflows to boost efficiency and effectiveness across the department
Ensure Transparency: Maintain meticulous documentation and prepare data-driven analyses for outsourcing reports delivered to our Management team
Stay Ahead: Proactively identify and mitigate risks while staying informed on the latest fintech trends and industry best practices
Requirements:
foundational background in Outsourcing Management or a related field within fintech, banking, or financial services
strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance frameworks such as ZAG, ZAG-MaRisk, DORA, RTS, and EBA Guidelines
analytical thinker with outstanding problem-solving skills
great communicator who enjoys building interpersonal relationships and can navigate professional environments in both German and English
background in computer science, law, economics, or equivalent professional experience
