Job Description

Do you want to work for an ambitious, fast-growing FMCG health brand that is genuinely challenging its category? Are you commercially driven, passionate about building strong retailer relationships, and excited by the opportunity to take ownership of a Top 4 grocery customer? Are you looking for a role where you can combine entrepreneurial freedom with real commercial impact? Look no further! This exciting, science-backed SME is on a mission to transform the way consumers think about everyday health. Powered by plants and underpinned by credible EFSA-approved science, their award-winning products support heart, skin, brain and overall wellbeing, with additional benefits across weight management and mental wellbeing. With clear purpose at its core, this is a brand bringing clarity and credibility to an often confusing category. Backed by two highly experienced founders – one with a strong senior FMCG commercial track record and the other a globally recognised health expert – the business is exceptionally well positioned for its next stage of growth. With strong momentum, increasing retailer traction, and an ongoing B Corp journey, this is a brand with real substance, not just strong storytelling. Due to continued expansion, they are now looking to appoint a Junior National Account Manager to take ownership of a key Top 4 grocery account alongside wider retail responsibility. This is a high-visibility role, working closely with the Founders and Commercial Director to shape strategy, unlock growth opportunities and drive commercial performance. As an SME, there is also a strong element of business development, making this ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-moving, high-autonomy environment. This is a home-based role, with travel once a week to their North West office.

Job Responsibility

  • Full ownership of a key Top 4 grocery account, including P&L and JBP management
  • Developing and maintaining strong, long-term customer relationships across retail partners
  • Driving commercial performance through weekly analysis of sales data, forecasting and performance tracking
  • Identifying and unlocking new business opportunities across both existing and new retail channels
  • Working closely with marketing and trade marketing to deliver compelling, insight-led customer plans
  • Supporting the development and execution of commercial strategy alongside the Founders and Commercial Director
  • Leading on ad hoc commercial projects in a fast-paced, evolving SME environment
  • Ensuring maximum visibility and execution of brand plans across key retail partners

Requirements

  • Previous FMCG experience, ideally as an NAE or similar
  • Experience managing Top 4 grocery accounts with P&L exposure
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to interpret data, forecast accurately and drive ROI-led decisions
  • A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset suited to a fast-growth SME environment
  • Strong relationship-building skills with both internal stakeholders and retail partners
  • Highly numerate with confidence using sales data, customer portals and insight tools
  • A hands-on, collaborative approach with a willingness to get involved across a small team
  • A genuine interest in health, wellness and purpose-led brands
