We're looking for a motivated Junior Manager Network Planning in Gurugram who will help us drive the India business to the next level and have the most direct influence on our success. The network planning team is the chief architect of our business. The network planning team has a strategic role to play in working closely with the managing director, the commercial functions as well as the business development to decide the initial network, allocate the right supply and then handle the marketplace to create further efficiencies.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead network launches by driving planning, execution, and successful handovers to internal stakeholders
  • Track and analyse network performance using data to understand trends and make better decisions
  • Improve and optimise routes, frequencies, and schedules to make the network more efficient and profitable
  • Plan our FlixBus lines in collaboration with our business partners, revenue management, and our experienced local teams to develop our network
  • Coordinate the interactions on your allocated line portfolio with the other teams to ensure smooth processes (e.g. line starts and operational requests)
  • Base your decisions on quantitative analyses and derive conclusions and observations from a variety of data sets to make informed decisions
  • Be a driving force in the expansion of FlixBus in India, shaping the future of transportation with innovation and enthusiasm

Requirements:

  • Bachelors’/Master’s degree in economics, Urban Planning, Geographical Engineering, Transportation, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in network planning, transportation planning from mobility/travel or related industry, preferably within a global setup
  • Strong understanding of India’s geography and travel demand patterns
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, derive insights, and make informed decisions
  • Solid business acumen and an entrepreneurial mindset to drive network growth and profitability
  • Proficient in using planning software, Power BI, Excel, Cubes, and other network planning tools
  • Speaks and writes fluent English and excels at working cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders across regions
