Job Description

As Junior Manager Design Service Marketing, you will play a key role in shaping, executing, and optimising the marketing strategy for our Interior Design Service, complementing the holistic customer experience at Westwing. You will drive Marketing initiatives end-to-end, collaborate with (senior) stakeholders across departments in an international and dynamic environment, and contribute directly to the growth and visibility of the Design Service in our core markets. This position is unlimited and based in Munich.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop concepts and business cases for marketing campaigns and initiatives that elevate and scale the Interior Design Service
  • Lead and execute marketing initiatives across channels, independently owning workstreams and ensuring seamless delivery
  • Monitor performance, analyse key metrics, and translate insights into actionable recommendations for optimisation
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration with marketing channels, creative teams, and the Interior Design Service team to deliver integrated campaigns
  • Challenge the status quo by identifying opportunities to improve processes, customer journeys, and campaign effectiveness
  • Conduct ongoing market, competitor, and customer research to inform strategic decisions and ensure relevance in a rapidly evolving landscape
  • Leverage AI tools in daily work to support ideation, data analysis, performance optimisation, and the development of scalable, insight-driven marketing initiatives

Requirements

  • A degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field
  • Strong analytical thinking, quick comprehension, and a data-driven approach to decision-making
  • Initial professional experience in marketing, e-commerce, brand management, or a related area (internships or junior roles)
  • An independent, hands-on working style, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent project management skills and attention to detail, ensuring high-quality execution across multiple initiatives
  • Near native level German skills, excellent communication skills in English, with proficiency in Google Suite and MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)

Nice to have

Openness to using AI tools in daily work and experience with project management tools (e.g. Asana)

  • Implement program management strategies designed to produce a successful affiliate program, meeting a client’s objectives and goals
  • Work independently to produce all necessary account management documentation and deliver regular reports on assigned programs
  • Proactively recruit new affiliates across the portfolio and project manage affiliate migrations in collaboration with clients and publisher team while building a working relationship with top 50 affiliates on network
  • Familiarise yourself with industry trends and Awin products to inform program management, while keeping clients informed of relevant information
  • Regularly leverage & utilise the Awin platform and third-party tools (i.e. Tableau, PowerBI, SimilarWeb, etc.) in support of account management deliverables for assigned clients and in support of wider network activities
  • Monitor affiliate program performance to ensure network compliance and program health
  • Take a proactive approach in solving issues with assigned clients, escalating issues to the appropriate team level when necessary
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with clients, publishers, vendors and internal teams via email, phone and face-to-face
  • Provide support to all team members when necessary and be a reference point of knowledge and expertise for more junior members of the team.
