Job Description

ELEKS Legal Department is looking for Junior Legal Counsel in Ukraine (Kyiv, Lviv). Fixed-term engagement for 1 year.

Job Responsibility

  • Drafting, reviewing, amending and negotiating of non-strategic commercial agreements
  • Resolving various legal tasks
  • Legal research and analysis
  • Providing opinions and summaries on matters of corporate, labor, contract and other laws related to the business of the company
  • Support internal information systems, including working with documents storage, updating data held by Legal Office, allocation of incoming tasks, etc.
  • Support Legal Office by carrying out trivial assignments

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Law
  • Upper-intermediate level of English
  • Good analytical skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Relevant professional experience (e.g. work, internship, pro bono)
  • Internship experience or 0.5+ years of relevant experience

  • Get into the deal flow — draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements including SaaS subscription agreements, reseller and partner agreements, SLAs, SOWs, consultant agreements and NDAs
  • Support and progressively take ownership of the contract lifecycle, from first draft through negotiation to signature
  • Work directly with Sales and Partnerships teams to unblock deals, provide practical guidance and keep momentum in commercial negotiations
  • Maintain and iterate on contract templates to reflect evolving legal, regulatory and commercial needs
  • Run contracts through electronic signature platforms and ensure clean execution and record keeping
  • Build a strong understanding of FrankieOne’s product and use it to inform contracting positions with customers, partners and vendors
  • Develop working knowledge of key regulatory frameworks (AML/CTF, CPS 230, GDPR, Privacy Act, DORA, EU AI Act) and apply them pragmatically in negotiations
  • Help balance legal risk with commercial outcomes — knowing when to push, when to concede, and when to escalate
