Job Description

This is a fantastic contract-to-hire opportunity for professionals looking to expand their legal expertise in a collaborative, full-time, on-site setting. The Junior Legal Assistant will play a key support role in the litigation process. Candidates with at least one year of prior exposure to the legal field will receive hands-on training in core legal administrative tasks.

Job Responsibility

  • Electronic court filing (e-filing)
  • Calendar and deadline management
  • Preparing Table of Authorities and Table of Contents (TOA/TOC)
  • Drafting, formatting, and filing pleadings and discovery documents

Requirements

  • Minimum one year of experience within a legal setting (law firm or corporate legal department)
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Eagerness to learn and take on increasing responsibility
  • Excellent communication and attention to detail
  • Full-time, on-site availability in Woodland Hills
