Junior Lawyer

• Serve as the primary in-house legal contact for Indonesia, managing day-to-day legal matters with end-to-end ownership
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements supporting local and regional business operations
• Provide practical legal advice on Indonesian laws and regulations, including contracts, corporate, consumer, data protection, employment, and product regulations (e.g. SNI)
• Support the business in adapting to regulatory changes, translating legal requirements into actionable guidance
• Handle routine company secretarial and corporate governance matters, including circular resolutions, corporate approvals, and coordination of notarial deeds and filings
• Coordinate and manage external counsel, including scoping, reviewing legal advice, and controlling costs
• Support selected regional (APAC) legal work, including cross-border contract review and regional legal initiatives
• Identify legal and regulatory risks and escalate material or high-risk issues to the regional legal team in a timely manner

• Bachelor of Laws (S.H.) from an accredited Indonesian university
• Law firm and in-house background preferred (approximately 1.5–4 years PQE)
• Solid foundation in Indonesian contract law and corporate/commercial matters
• Working knowledge of Indonesian regulatory frameworks, including product and technical regulations
• Exposure to oil & gas, lubricants, chemicals, or other regulated industries is preferred
• Native in Bahasa Indonesia and strong working proficiency in English (written and spoken)
• Advocate license (PERADI) is required
• Ability to operate independently as the sole local legal contact, with sound judgment on when to escalate
