Job Description

We are looking for a Junior IT Infrastructure & Support Specialist (Contractor) to work in our Kyiv office (office-based position, full no remote work). You will work as a contractor but still be a part of the Global team, delivering IT service to customers in Ukraine, Poland, and Denmark. In this role, you will have the opportunity to touch both IT workplace, service delivery and infrastructure maintenance areas.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide professional and efficient support for customers, both in Kyiv and globally
  • Fulfill IT services requests, resolve IT incidents
  • Plan, prioritize, and coordinate IT Help Desk tasks for oneself
  • Assist users in troubleshooting hardware\software problems
  • Perform hardware and software maintenance: installations, replacements, repair, cleanup on request
  • Take part in local IT support initiative: inventory update, maintenance, events organization, IT workplace organization
  • Assist in Local Area Network physical layer management process
  • Create and update the knowledge base related to IT services

Requirements

  • Self-organized and service-minded, like to engage with other people
  • Organized, with structured ways of working and likes problem-solving
  • Prior systems administrator or infrastructure\customer\workplace support experience
  • Good knowledge of user side of Windows operating system family administration (on user level)
  • Understanding of Windows Server or Microsoft Cloud services
  • Knowledge in Active Directory service and ability to manage objects (users, groups, PCs,etc.)
  • Basic knowledge in LANs and connectivity issues, troubleshooting methods
  • Intermediate+ level of English
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written)

Nice to have

Relevant technical education - IT, radio electronics, telecommunication OR relevant IT courses\certifications is a plus
