Job Description

This team supports Zalando’s Insurance Management in a wide variety of topics. We handle the corporate insurance portfolio, claims (mainly cargo crime and other mishaps), loss prevention (e.g. fire protection in the warehouses) and many other topics. Join our Team of Risk, Business Continuity and Insurance Managers and expand your network to colleagues from Legal, Transport and Safety teams as well as external partners.

Job Responsibility

  • Take over the claims handling process (data collection, reporting, communication with internal and external stakeholders)
  • Build strong ties with internal stakeholders and use the full power of our internal network, i.e. security and logistics teams for loss prevention and claims investigations
  • Make use of AI (Gemini) and build tools to tackle the daily challenges
  • Support our contract management for the corporate international insurance portfolio including communication with the insurance broker and insurers, data collection, budgeting, buying, payments

Requirements

  • Good communication skills in English written and spoken, confident to communicate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Background or experience in insurance, claims handling, or legal
  • Good knowledge in Gemini, Google Suite or MS Office
  • Deadline-driven, proactive and capable of multi-tasking
  • Passion for administrative and organizational tasks
