We’re looking for a highly creative and platform-native Junior Instagram Channel Manager to join the Social Video team, working across Ladbible. This role will sit within our team of Channel Managers, directly supporting the LADbible Instagram Channel Manager in delivering daily output. It is a fast-paced, execution-focused position with a strong emphasis on Photoshop and reactive visual storytelling. You’ll play a key role in turning stories, trends and cultural moments into bold, high-performing Instagram graphics, while developing your editorial instincts, platform knowledge and format thinking within one of the world’s biggest youth publishers. This is an ideal role for someone who understands viral content, thrives in a reactive environment, and wants to grow into a senior channel position.
Job Responsibility:
Supporting the LADbible Channel Manager in the day-to-day running of the Instagram account
Creating best-in-class, platform-native graphics using Photoshop to support editorial and reactive content
Contributing ideas in daily editorial discussions and pitching reactive content concepts and repeatable IP-led formats
Translating news stories, internet culture and trending topics into engaging, shareable visual posts at speed
Assisting with scheduling content across Feed, Reels and Stories
Writing engaging, platform-native captions that reflect LADbible’s tone of voice
Monitoring post performance and applying insights to refine future creative output
Supporting community management and maintaining LADbible’s voice across comments and interactions
Collaborating with Editorial and Video teams to ensure consistent, high-quality output
Requirements:
Exceptional Photoshop & AI Imagery creation skills
Experience working in a fast-paced digital, publishing or social-first environment (preferred)
A strong understanding of what makes content go viral on Instagram
An instinctive feel for LADbible’s tone of voice and the interests of 16–34-year-olds
The ability to work quickly and accurately in a reactive news environment
A sharp editorial eye and strong visual judgement
Confidence writing engaging captions that maximise reach and engagement
A basic understanding of Instagram’s algorithm and performance metrics
An understanding of media law and publishing best practice
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team
Nice to have:
Video editing experience (Premiere Pro, After Effects) is desirable but not essential
Experience across additional platforms such as TikTok or YouTube Shorts is a bonus
