As a Junior Industrialisation Engineer based in Parramatta / Camellia and reporting to the Senior Rollingstock Manager, you will support the setup and continuous improvement of maintenance and business processes for Rollingstock assets. Over time, the role will progressively expand to support Infrastructure systems including signalling, communications, power, civil and track, while working closely with multidisciplinary teams in a dynamic and collaborative environment. The assignment duration is 12 months.
Job Responsibility:
Support the setup and optimisation of Rollingstock maintenance and business processes within GRCLR in line with lean maintenance and asset management principles
Assist with the configuration and optimisation of the EAM Hexagon system, including master data, job plans, scheduling and reporting
Develop and implement repair loops for rotables and configuration-managed components
Contribute to the development and improvement of maintenance documentation, work instructions, BOMs and ILS materials
Collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance and Supply Chain teams to ensure processes meet safety, reliability and compliance requirements
Participate in FRACAS and engineering change processes and support continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial preferred)
2–3 years’ experience in engineering or industrialisation roles in Rollingstock, manufacturing or maintenance environments
Knowledge of asset management standards (ISO 55000), lean methodologies and reliability principles
Experience with EAM or CMMS platforms, preferably Hexagon EAM
Strong process thinking, communication and teamwork skills
Excellent documentation, communication, and training development skills
Ability to engage with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and outcome-driven
