Job Description

We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Junior Image Retoucher to join our Ecommerce Team team on a full-time basis for 12 months. This role will be based in our Merton office.

Job Responsibility

  • Perform art working and image editing of photography to the highest standards
  • Work across a broad range of images and categories during ecommerce seasonal uploads and wholesale selling season (JOOR) to meet upload targets
  • Retouch a high volume of images, to include batch processing, resizing and cropping within the agreed timeline
  • Quality control on editing and colour checking/matching images with garments/products to ensure consistent colour accuracy
  • Maintain and organise personal retouch workload and checklist priorities, ensuring assets are submitted onto the VW dropbox ready for approval
  • Ensure a consistent and open communication is maintained with the Senior Retouchers, Image and Content Coordinator or Ecom Studio Operations Manager

Requirements

  • 2 years’ experience minimum within retouch/ edit field
  • A strong portfolio of creative work
  • Excellent Photoshop knowledge and a strong understanding of colour spaces and Mac systems
  • Advanced knowledge retouching specifically on still life, mannequin, and model
  • Composite retouch experience
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate
  • Problem solving and decision-making skills – Solution focused
  • Ability to multitask, manage and prioritise workload to meet deadlines
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proactive attitude to problem solving and improving systems
  • The capability to perform under pressure

Nice to have

  • Experience in an ecommerce setting is preferred
