We are seeking candidates for a Junior Graphic Designer position with a highly successful investment management firm located in Boston, MA. The Junior Graphic Designer will report to the Manager of Design and support the creation and execution of compelling visual content across digital, print, social media, video, and other marketing platforms. The ideal candidate will have 2-3+ years of relevant design experience in an agency or in-house creative environment. This is a 6+ month contract position that will pay $35-40/hr (depending on experience) within a 40-hour workweek. This position supports a hybrid work model, onsite 3 days per week, remote 2 days per week.
Job Responsibility:
Develop visually engaging design solutions that support marketing initiatives and align with overall brand strategy
Execute creative assets across multiple channels, including digital, print, social media, presentations, and video-related content
Maintain consistency with established brand guidelines while contributing fresh creative ideas and perspectives
Support projects through all stages of development, from concept and design through production and final delivery
Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, content, and communications, to ensure projects are delivered accurately and on schedule
Incorporate feedback thoughtfully and revise materials as needed to achieve high-quality creative outcomes
Assist in the development of enterprise communications and campaign-related materials
Participate in creative discussions, project reviews, and brainstorming sessions, contributing ideas and design recommendations
Build a strong understanding of company initiatives, target audiences, and communication objectives to inform creative execution
Stay informed on current design trends, marketing best practices, and emerging creative tools and technologies
Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
2-3+ years of design experience within an agency, corporate, or in-house creative environment
Strong portfolio showcasing creative thinking, visual storytelling, layout design, and multi-channel marketing work
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across teams
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
Ability to apply creative problem-solving skills and adapt designs based on feedback and project needs
Nice to have:
Experience with Figma and Microsoft Office
Experience within a regulated industry, such as financial services or healthcare
