Job Description:

As a Junior General Ledger Accountant at Ingka Business Service Center (IKEA), you will assist in accounting tasks such as booking bank statements, resolving discrepancies, and supporting financial reporting. You will collaborate with teams to ensure compliance with service-level agreements and efficient financial processes, while striving for continuous improvement. The role is based in Poznan, Poland, and offers the opportunity to develop professionally in a hybrid work model. Job Responsibility:

Booking bank statements and investigating unidentified positions
Booking sales reports and internal transactions and investigating discrepancies
Providing support in producing monthly closing reports for the organization, including results of month booking, reconcile suspense accounts
Cooperating with other financial teams to deliver the best results for suppliers and business partners
Managing the above responsibilities according to the service levels agreed with the business partner
Actively contributing to the continuous improvement of process and working routines and striving to constantly reduce the average time spent on operational tasks.

Requirements:

You are eager to gain experience in accounting
You are willing to expand your knowledge of accounting
Education in finance and accounting is welcome
You have solution focused approach and ability to organize and prioritize a high volume of daily duties
Your interpersonal, communication and analytical skills are something you want to show us

Communication in English is your strong point, and you are eager to use it while cooperating with various business partners
Communication in Polish is a must
