Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior General Ledger Accountant to join the newly established shared service center in Krakow. Our client is a global company in the advanced electronic components sector that values innovation, quality, and long-term partnerships. Job Responsibility:

handle the preparation and input of various financial transactions into the system for entities in Poland and around the world
collaborate daily with the team, contributing to the creation of financial reports at the close of each month, quarter, and year
daily communication in German with colleagues from headquarters
work within the SAP system
involvement in international projects
identify and suggest process improvements

Requirements:

commercial training, ideally as a qualified accountant, economics degree with a focus on finance/accounting, or comparable training
professional experience in the accounting department of an international company, especially in the area of general ledger accounting and the preparation of financial statements (junior level)
accounting certificate will be considered an advantage
open-minded mindset
enjoy working in a team
good knowledge of SAP S4 and MS Office (especially Excel)
very good knowledge of English and German
other foreign languages are an advantage
good knowledge of IFRS accounting and, if possible, German GAAP (HGB)
