Madbox is a fast-growing mobile gaming company. As part of Madbox, you’ll work with a small, passionate team with real ownership, working side by side with veterans behind Pocket Champs. Together, you’ll help build bold, accessible, and unique mobile games from the ground up, where team chemistry and creative ambition come first. This is a unique opportunity to join a promising game at its earliest stage, within a tight-knit New Games team based in our newly opened Annecy studio (8–10 people). You’ll iterate fast on a strong game concept, shaping it on the road to soft launch and beyond.
Job Responsibility:
Drive end-to-end production from early concept to soft launch
Structure and prioritize the team’s work in a fast-moving, exploratory environment
Help frame problems, define scope, and navigate trade-offs between ambition, speed, and quality
Ensure clear communication and alignment within the team and with stakeholders across Madbox
Contribute directly to the quality of the game through feedback, ideation, and critical thinking
Support decision-making around game iterations by helping teams decide what to test next and why
Requirements:
Experience in game production, project management, or a similar role in games
Strong interest in mobile and casual games with active curiosity about market trends/dynamics
Comfort working with ambiguity and early-stage projects
Sufficient/Basic design literacy to challenge ideas and discuss gameplay, UX, and player experience with the team
Understanding of the main game-making disciplines and how they interact
Clear, direct communication with a strong sense of ownership
Strong verbal and written communication skills in both French and English are required
Nice to have:
Experience working on early concepts, prototypes, or pre-production phases
Sensitivity to UX, Art, or technical constraints
Familiarity with tools like Notion, Excel/Gsheet, or Figma
