Job Description

On behalf of one of our prestigious clients — a leading international bank established — we are currently seeking a motivated and analytical Junior Fund Accounting Oversight Analyst. This is an exceptional entry-level opportunity for a finance or accounting graduate to launch their career within a major banking institution and gain robust expertise in investment fund supervision.

Job Responsibility

  • Assist in the daily control, review, and validation processes of Net Asset Values (NAV)
  • Identify, investigate, and help resolve cash, position, and pricing breaks/discrepancies
  • Perform regular reconciliations between internal oversight systems and external fund administrators' data
  • Maintain clear and professional communication with internal departments and external service providers to resolve operational issues efficiently
  • Contribute to the production of periodic operational reporting and KPIs for management

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration
  • A basic theoretical or practical understanding of fund accounting principles (NAV, cash, holdings, pricing) and financial instruments (equities, bonds, FX, simple derivatives)
  • Comfortable using the MS Office Suite, particularly Excel for data review, basic formulas, and reconciliations
  • Basic knowledge of Word and PowerPoint
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to interact professionally within a corporate banking environment
  • Well-organized with the ability to manage priorities and meet strict daily operational deadlines (cut-offs)
  • Detail-oriented, curious, and proactive when it comes to investigating numerical discrepancies

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with the Luxembourg fund industry, especially UCITS structures
  • A previous internship or first professional exposure to fund administration or oversight environments
