Job Description:

Our client, a leader in the media industry, is seeking a Junior Financial Analyst to join their team in support of ongoing Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) initiatives. This role will be focused on project support, financial reporting, data analysis, and automation enhancement. You will play a key role in developing and testing reports, preparing journal entries, and analyzing subscriber revenue. ...

Job Responsibility:

Participate in Media DTC project meetings and collaborate with IT on revenue reporting enhancements
Assist with user testing and data analysis for new product launches
Support finance automation initiatives by identifying and implementing process improvements
Prepare journal entries and assist in month-end close activities
Complete account analysis and reconciliations in a timely manner
Handle subscriber revenue remittance and cash processing tasks
Develop and enhance reporting tools, including MicroStrategy reports
Perform ad-hoc analysis and reporting as required

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of experience in an Accounting or Finance environment
Strong data mining and analytical skills with the ability to manipulate large datasets
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Hands-on experience with SAP, MicroStrategy, and/or Alteryx preferred
Proven ability to automate and improve financial processes
Strong organizational and time management skills
Independent, self-motivated, and detail-oriented professional
