Job Description:

Groupon is in a phase of real transformation - not just tweaking slides, but rethinking how we invest, prioritize, and grow. This is a new junior role created to support Tech FP&A and give you early exposure to how a global company thinks about effective allocation of its resources, investment priorities, and long-term value creation. You won’t just prepare reports - you’ll work close to the numbers and the people using them. If you’re early in your finance career and want to grow beyond routine reporting, this role is a strong starting point.

Job Responsibility:

  • Monthly variance analysis - SG&A reporting, cost drivers (people, software, cloud), and explaining what changed and why
  • Cloud cost & FinOps support - tracking spend, spotting trends and anomalies, supporting optimization with Engineering
  • Forecasting & planning - quarterly forecasts, annual planning, and headcount planning with HR
  • KPIs & ad-hoc analysis - supporting performance tracking and real business questions
  • Process improvements - helping make reporting and data work better over time

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics
  • 1-2 years of experience in Finance, FP&A, or Controlling
  • Strong Excel skills and comfort with larger datasets
  • High attention to detail and solid analytical thinking
  • Fluent English (written & spoken)

Nice to have:

  • Exposure to Tech, Product, or Engineering teams
  • Experience with cloud costs, BI tools
