Job Description:

As a Field Service Engineer, you will play a key part in supporting our customers on-site, ensuring our solutions perform reliably throughout their lifecycle. This is a 2-year fixed-term position, ideal for engineers who enjoy dynamic environments, fieldwork, and making a real impact.

Job Responsibility:

  • Perform on-site commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of PV and energy storage systems across Romania
  • Diagnose technical issues and implement effective solutions to ensure system availability and performance
  • Support customers during service visits and act as a professional technical representative on-site
  • Collaborate closely with remote technical teams, service partners, and internal stakeholders
  • Document service activities clearly and contribute to continuous improvement of service processes
  • Ensure all work is carried out in line with safety standards, quality requirements, and local regulations

Requirements:

  • Technical education or degree in electrical engineering, renewable energy, electronics, or a comparable field
  • First hands-on experience in field service, commissioning, or maintenance of technical systems, ideally in renewables
  • Solid understanding of electrical systems and the ability to read and interpret technical documentation
  • Romanian C1 and English B2 according to CEFR
  • Willingness to travel frequently within Romania and work on-site at customer locations
  • Structured, reliable, and solution-oriented working style with strong communication skills
