Junior Expert Vaccine-Preventable Diseases

• Support data collection and validation processes, and the production of ECDC outputs related to vaccine-preventable diseases or vaccines.
• Support the organization of EU National Immunisation Technical Advisory Groups (NITAGs) collaboration activities.
• Support the collection and systematization of information on relevant immunization policies, program implementation, and scientific evidence as needed.
• Contribute to the development of technical guidance on vaccination, provide rapid scientific opinions, and conduct rapid literature reviews and assessments.
• Contribute to technical reports on vaccine-preventable diseases, provide periodic updates to the team on relevant scientific literature, and participate in VPI meetings and daily ECDC round tables.

• A University degree within the field of medicine, public health, epidemiology, biosciences, or related fields.
• Working experience in the field of vaccine-preventable diseases in the area of public health, epidemiology, and/or surveillance.
• Very good English language skills (written and spoken).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and under tight deadlines.
• Very good MS Office skills (including an intermediate level in Excel).

Experience in the analysis of regional, national, or international surveillance data.
