Job Responsibility:

  • Rigorously analyze plans and specifications to understand the technical requirements of construction projects
  • Perform precise take-offs for materials, labor, and equipment
  • Proactively respond to inquiries from institutional clients via email and telephone
  • Develop competitive proposals and bids within prescribed deadlines
  • Collaborate closely with external stakeholders to clarify needs and propose innovative alternatives
  • Manage file openings, prepare production sheets, and order materials following contract awards
  • Calculate applicable extras and price adjustments during projects based on site realities
  • Simultaneously manage several active files with outstanding organization

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in estimating for construction or manufacturing projects
  • Technical diploma or training in architecture, estimation, or a related field
  • Mastery of the primary working language, both spoken and written. (French)
  • Proficiency in Office Suite software (particularly Excel)
  • Knowledge or basic skills in AutoCAD (a major asset for technical reading)
