Job Responsibility:
Rigorously analyze plans and specifications to understand the technical requirements of construction projects
Perform precise take-offs for materials, labor, and equipment
Proactively respond to inquiries from institutional clients via email and telephone
Develop competitive proposals and bids within prescribed deadlines
Collaborate closely with external stakeholders to clarify needs and propose innovative alternatives
Manage file openings, prepare production sheets, and order materials following contract awards
Calculate applicable extras and price adjustments during projects based on site realities
Simultaneously manage several active files with outstanding organization
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in estimating for construction or manufacturing projects
Technical diploma or training in architecture, estimation, or a related field
Mastery of the primary working language, both spoken and written. (French)
Proficiency in Office Suite software (particularly Excel)
Knowledge or basic skills in AutoCAD (a major asset for technical reading)
