Requirements

A background in Quantity Surveying, either currently studying or recently completed would be ideal however they will also consider someone from a construction background
Knowledge of construction methodologies and a solid understanding of JCT contracts would really benefit you in this role
A knack for quick turnarounds during busy periods and the initiative to work to strict deadlines

Job Responsibility

Preparing comprehensive tender packages and managing the bid process
Reviewing tender documentation, including preliminaries and contract documents, and conducting site visits as necessary

Coordinating sub-contractor tendering and performing quote comparisons
Engaging in cost-planning and assessing levels of risk and opportunity on tenders
