Junior Engineer – MEP

• Creation and management of all electrical and mechanical engineered design documents
• Assisting the project management team during construction

• Promote job site safety, encourages safe work practices
• Assist in the engineering design process for multiple projects simultaneously
• Assist the Engineer in maintaining the engineer design schedule
• Communicate effectively with any subcontractors assisting in design
• Assist with engineering related correspondence required with the Owner
• Assist the Lead Engineer in verifying and maintaining the latest current Engineering drawings on Procore and distribute to project team
• Ensure all project engineered design documents are coordinated and complete
• Coordinate with the estimator as required to ensure design complies with budget assumptions

• At least 3-5 years of experience
• Working knowledge of MEP codes and practices
• Use of engineering formulas and skills to ensure safety and technical accuracy in the design of projects
• Review design projects for code compliance
• Perform on-site investigations and surveys prior to design
• Provides technical support to the architect during the design process and contractors throughout construction

A focus on HVAC engineering is a plus for this role
