At Enertis Applus+, we are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic recent Electrical Engineer graduate to join our team as a Junior Engineer, supporting the development and construction of utility-scale PV (Photovoltaic) and BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) projects in Italy. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate at the beginning of their professional career who is eager to learn, curious about renewable energy, and interested in being actively involved in projects from early-stage permitting through to construction and commissioning.

Job Responsibility

  • Assisting with the review of technical documentation related to PV and BESS projects (design drawings, layouts, electrical schematics, technical specifications)
  • Supporting activities related to permitting and authorization processes, including secondary permitting and compliance tracking
  • Participating in the coordination of stakeholders (developers, EPC contractors, consultants, local authorities, and grid operators)
  • Assisting in monitoring project progress during the pre-construction and construction phases
  • Contributing to the preparation of technical reports and internal/external communications
  • Learning to identify and flag technical risks, deviations, or inconsistencies

Requirements

  • Recently graduated (or about to graduate) with a BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Strong interest in renewable energy, particularly PV and energy storage systems
  • Eagerness to learn and develop technical and project management skills
  • Curious mindset with a proactive and problem-solving attitude
  • Willingness to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
  • Good organizational and communication skills
  • Basic understanding of electrical systems (LV/MV systems, power distribution principles)
  • Familiarity in MS Office

Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar tools
