Job Description:

The Junior Distribution Planner will be a key player on the Fuels & Logistics team that will help oversee the stock movements across the supply chain network and grow F&L globally at ACT. The candidate will partner with multiple departments, including Global Technology, Business Units, and Support functions.

Job Responsibility:

Maintain optimal stock cover at each location
Ensure minimum distribution costs
Liaise with stakeholders across the supply chain lifecycle to identify risks and/or opportunities
Execute necessary changes & communicate effectively to key stakeholders
Responsible for service level and preventing inventory runouts at stations
Liaise with supply/sourcing to ensure efficient value chain
Oversee fleet planning to fulfill operational goals
Ensure adherence to HSSE targets and compliance within distribution
Maintain a positive P&L for in-fleet trucks
Handle calls and address operational issues
Support drivers in resolving fuel delivery-related issues
Drive process, innovation, and transformational change within the department
Implement initiatives for operational improvements
Follow and establish industry standards
Implement SOPs to achieve desired benchmarks on fleet planning metrics
Monitor activities within Fuel Distribution for product reconciliations
Work collaboratively across multiple sets of stakeholders
Proactively recommend multiple approaches to business stakeholders
Serve as first point of contact for Business stakeholders

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, or related fields)
Basic understanding of logistics or supply chain management
Experience in call handling
Fluency in English - verbal and written communication
