Job Description:

The Junior Distribution Planner will be a key player on the Fuels & Logistics team that will help oversee the stock movements across the supply chain network and grow F&L globally at ACT. The candidate will partner with multiple departments, including Global Technology, Business Units, and Support functions.

Job Responsibility:

  • Maintain optimal stock cover at each location
  • Ensure minimum distribution costs
  • Liaise with stakeholders across the supply chain lifecycle to identify risks and/or opportunities
  • Execute necessary changes & communicate effectively to key stakeholders
  • Responsible for service level and preventing inventory runouts at stations
  • Liaise with supply/sourcing to ensure efficient value chain
  • Oversee fleet planning to fulfill operational goals
  • Ensure adherence to HSSE targets and compliance within distribution
  • Maintain a positive P&L for in-fleet trucks
  • Handle calls and address operational issues
  • Support drivers in resolving fuel delivery-related issues
  • Drive process, innovation, and transformational change within the department
  • Implement initiatives for operational improvements
  • Follow and establish industry standards
  • Implement SOPs to achieve desired benchmarks on fleet planning metrics
  • Monitor activities within Fuel Distribution for product reconciliations
  • Work collaboratively across multiple sets of stakeholders
  • Proactively recommend multiple approaches to business stakeholders
  • Serve as first point of contact for Business stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, or related fields)
