This role involves providing end-to-end support for sales opportunities, including technical solution design, pricing, and statement of work development. It requires strong collaboration with sales teams, knowledge of the company’s technology portfolio, and effective communication with stakeholders. The role is hybrid with an expectation to work on average 2 days per week from an HPE office.
Job Responsibility:
Provides support to sales to provide opportunity solution pricing as per expectations
Handles End-to-End pricing solutions in scope for the Solutions Center team
Interacts and collaborates with sales/pursuit teams in Geo/country and works with them to understand the customer requirement and develop pricing quote and SoW (Scope of Work) for in-pursuit deals
Contributes to design for specific deliverables and assists in the development of technical solutions
Ensures that incoming deals meet acceptance guidelines
Understands a broad spectrum of the company's technology in order to deliver part of a detailed technical design, which meets customer requirements
Identifies the technology solutions needed to fulfill the business objectives of the customer and be able to interact with people (customer and internal HPE) at all levels and geographies
Develops expertise and practical knowledge of applications for the assigned portfolio
Works independently on the assigned tasks
Uses appropriate tools to provide support for proposals development
Uses knowledge tools and re-uses information for the benefit of projects, and of professional development
Communicates effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders and has the ability to drive the conversation/discussion
Possess a strong customer focus with the ability to manage escalations, balancing the needs of the customer, the HPE teams (Sales/Pursuit/Delivery)
Requirements:
Graduated a Bachelor or Master’s degree (Computer Science, Engineering/IT, etc.)
1–2 years of experience in IT industry field and presales solutions support
Fluent in written and verbal English
Fluent in other foreign language (German, Spanish, French or Italian as a 2nd language) is a strong advantage
Fast learner of technology concepts and understanding the purpose of technologies
Good analytical and problem solving skills
Strong customer service mind-set
Sense of urgency to manage time properly when answering to customers
Strong teamwork to collaborate and deliver solutions more effectively and document knowledge to share with others
Result-oriented, self-started, able to achieve goals and objectives
Team player, communicative and flexible, quality mind-set
Have very good MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
Microsoft Office and Excel data manipulation experience
Proposal and presentation writing skills
Intermediate/advanced MS Excel
Nice to have:
