We are looking for a maternity replacement on a fixed term contract basis for 8 months. If you are highly motivated to join SIG, a global player in the packaging industry, then join our European Marketing Team. You will assist in defining and executing the strategic communication plan while fostering to position SIG Europe and its product portfolio mainly via digital media channels. Your role will be to strengthen SIG’s image in Europe on both levels, internally and externally, always in line with the values and principles of our SIG corporate image. You will be a key function to further develop all European digital and other modern communication knowledge and capabilities leveraging the digital eco system.
Job Responsibility:
Align, (co-)develop, implement and manage branding and marketing campaigns that promote our company and its products and/or services across Europe (internally & externally)
Promote SIG Europe positioning and product portfolio. Align with Global Corporate Communication and global marketing on relevant topics, media coverage and create an annual European communication plan. Respond to media requests, writes or briefs freelance for creation press releases, posts etc.
Drive, manage and further develop the digital eco system with all connected tools (website, blog, social channel posts, newsletter) etc.
Align, adapt or create pieces to promote communication inside and outside the organization. Coordinate with journalists, communication experts and/or agencies for the posting of news stories
Oversee coordinating posting to European social media accounts on our different platforms, according to plan. Adapt materials to ensure message is maintained and aligned across different EU markets. Ensure and follow postings schedule/plan
Support proactively local European Marketing Team in the development of local marketing and communication campaigns. Lead the development of communication pieces that are shared to promote SIG Europe and our solution portfolio
Align and/or create content or oversee agencies in creating content for all European communication channels
Research and create reports or other informational documents on relevant communication campaigns, be these other cluster or market, customer or competition related and distributing them accordingly. Monitor coverage in Europe, follow up ROI and performance
Share & communicate worldwide innovations (SIG or competition) and/or sustainable initiatives/projects to customers and stakeholders.
Requirements:
Education in Business administration, economics or Marketing with specific focus on area of communications, social media etc. (masters or certificates in Social Media and/or Digital Marketing desired)
+2 years experience in an international marketing / communication role and working with cross-functional international teams
English is a must
Good communication, change managment and team work skills
Empathy and adaptive capabilities
Outcome-orientation and results driven with a strong emphasis on work quality and strong commitment to deliver.
