Job Description

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our Cloud & Infrastructure team in Bucharest. This role is focused on deploying, maintaining, and enhancing infrastructure for Vodafone’s cloud and on-premises applications. The individual will provide technical support, collaborate with development teams, and offer DevOps consulting for future application improvements.

Job Responsibility

  • Assist in deploying and configuring cloud components needed for new features
  • Update internal documentation as you learn new processes or tools

Requirements

  • Holds a degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related technical field
  • initial exposure to cloud or DevOps concepts through internships, academic projects, or entry‑level roles
  • Familiar with public cloud platforms such as OCI, AWS, or Azure
  • Basic knowledge of scripting using Bash or Python
  • Introductory experience with CI/CD tools like Git, GitLab, GitHub, or Jenkins
  • Basic understanding of Linux system administration
  • Exposure to NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Redis
