We’re seeking a Junior DevOps Engineer to join our rapidly growing global team.

Job Responsibility:

  • Work with the applications server in order to install, configure and deploy new enterprise applications on the existing infrastructures (virtualized environments)
  • Help model the databases and integrate them with new or existing enterprise/legacy applications in order to create complex environments
  • Ensure that the systems are safe and secure against cyber security threats
  • Build and set up CI/CD pipelines and new development tools

Requirements:

  • Solid understanding of CI/CD pipeline implementation and version control systems
  • Proficiency in operating systems such as Unix and Windows, along with scripting capabilities
  • Experience with database management and SQL scripting, preferably with Oracle, MySQL, or DB2
  • Familiarity with application servers like WebSphere, WebLogic, Apache Tomcat, and JBoss
  • Experience in client interactions, including understanding and processing requirements
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • A friendly, positive, and adaptable approach to work
  • Basic knowledge of scripting languages such as Python and Bash
  • Awareness of container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and the ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Excellent collaboration skills and a team-oriented mindset

Nice to have:

  • Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
  • Previous internship or project experience in a DevOps or software development role
  • Certifications in cloud technologies or DevOps methodologies
  • Basic knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and their administrative processes
