Job Description

As a Junior Data Engineer, you'll be part of the team responsible for designing and delivering the data products that power Fever's partner ecosystem — from real-time APIs and dashboards to data exports and automated reports. Our teams leverage modern data platforms (Snowflake, DBT, Airflow, Superset, DataHub, etc.) while developing our own technology to deliver high-quality, reliable, and scalable data products across multiple business domains.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop a deep understanding of Fever's backend systems and data models
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Project Managers, and business stakeholders to translate ideas and reporting needs into clear technical requirements and data structures
  • Develop and optimize ETL/ELT workflows using Python, DBT, Airflow, and Snowflake
  • Contribute to the design, build, and maintenance of partner-facing data products, including APIs, dashboards, webhooks, and file-based exports
  • Help ensure that all data delivered to partners is accurate, consistent, and aligned with the underlying business context
  • Contribute to the architecture, testing, and observability of our data ecosystem
  • Grow your ownership progressively
  • Support the evolution of Fever's data mesh

Requirements

  • Fluent in Spanish and English
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Data Engineering, or a related field
  • 2 years of professional or project-based experience in data engineering or a related field
  • Solid foundations in Python and SQL
  • A good understanding of data modeling fundamentals and how software systems generate and expose data
  • Academic or hands-on project experience building data pipelines or data products
  • Good communication and collaboration skills
  • Eagerness to take ownership, learn fast, and grow in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with version control (Git) and an interest in software engineering best practices (CI/CD, testing, observability)

Nice to have

  • Exposure to real-time data platforms such as Tinybird or ClickHouse
  • Familiarity with domains like B2B, Marketing, or Partner Reporting
  • Exposure to streaming or near-real-time data (Kafka, Kinesis, etc.)
