Job Description:

Zencargo is looking for a Junior Data Analyst to join our Data team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. In this role, you will support the business by building and maintaining dashboards, resolving data questions from the wider business, and improving our reporting environment. You will work closely with stakeholders across the company to turn data into clear, actionable insights that help drive better decision-making in our supply chain operations. This is a hands-on junior role focused on business-facing analysis and reporting, rather than data engineering or pipeline development.

Job Responsibility:

Build, redesign, and maintain dashboards and reports in our BI tool to meet business needs
Respond to ad-hoc data requests from stakeholders and provide clear analysis
Investigate and explain data inconsistencies or discrepancies
Support teams with data in reports, Google Sheets, advanced formulas, data manipulation and pipelines
Help clean up and migrate existing reports and dashboards to improve the overall reporting environment
Work with data in both reporting tool and data warehouse to ensure accurate and reliable reporting
Collaborate with the wider data team to understand business requirements and deliver effective reporting solutions

Requirements:

Strong proficiency in Google Sheets and/or Excel (including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data cleaning)
Solid SQL skills, with experience in optimising queries and managing complex datasets
Experience (or strong interest) in building dashboards and visualisations using BI tools (e.g. Looker, Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
Good analytical skills with high attention to detail
Ability to investigate data issues and clearly explain findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
Excellent communication skills - you enjoy helping others understand data

Nice to have:

Practical understanding of data engineering principles
Previous experience in supply chain, logistics, or a fast-growing company
Familiarity with any modern BI or analytics platforms
