Job Description:

The role covers CS Compute Mainframe across all Regions and will interface with other business areas and departments, including Cybersecurity, Group IBMz Support (ITID/CTO), Global Risk Domains, Internal and External Audit. The role holder will be part of a CS Compute Mainframe team of approximately 10 FTE, spread across the Group.

Job Responsibility:

  • Seek to identify opportunities for efficiency and effectiveness in the processes and tooling as defined in the Mainframe (IBMz) Security Framework
  • Take an active part in adapting/changing practices to improve both controls and efficiency
  • Deal with ambiguous situations in a relatively autonomous manner and escalate where necessary but often have to find answers or the right way of doing things on their own as not everything will be in a Processes & Controls manual
  • Contribute to all related activities within the Mainframe (IBMz) domain
  • Define and manage the Mainframe (IBMz) projects and security processes
  • Drive security excellence within the domain
  • Define CS control requirements for the Mainframe (IBMz) security domain in policies and procedures
  • Operate a first line of defence to ensure compliance with policies and standards
