Job Description:

This is an in-office role with a starting wage of $20 - $22 per hour based on experience. This is a great opportunity for someone to grow their skills with an eye on potential advancement, as our partner is going through a period of tremendous growth. Please note: this is an afternoon start position with either a 2 PM – 10 PM or 3 PM – 11 PM shift.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee the release, classification, and billing of import shipments to ensure compliance with U.S. Customs and partner agency requirements
  • Prepare customs documentation, including bonds, for inspection and release of imported goods
  • Ensure all shipments are processed accurately and promptly, meeting legal and customer expectations
  • Resolve accounting issues and guarantee accurate, timely billing for all transactions
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of customs procedures and regulatory changes
  • Collaborate with other units and be adaptable to additional tasks as assigned

Requirements:

  • High school diploma (or equivalent) required
  • At least 2 years of brokerage experience highly preferred
  • Industry office experience will also be considered
  • Strong data entry and communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Windows, and email preferred
  • Familiarity with Magaya customs platform is a big plus but not required
